Ssooooo, looking forward to this…
Myanmar has only recently opened its borders to tourists so I want to see it as it is now, as I'm sure over the next few years it will change dramatically.
I arrived in Bangkok at about 10pm. A few glasses of wine (just to celebrate the new year of course) A great nights sleep, and now off to Don Muang to get a domestic flight down to Ranong where I'll get a longtail boat over to Myanmar (Burma)
I've never been over the border before, so I'm quite looking forward to this trip. I'm taking a longtail boat then taking the slow route up to Dawei by bus as opposed to flying, over the period of a week.
